Hooray my hat arrived!

I’ve been waiting for it for a week or so and I’m sure Kristi will be glad it arrived because I’ll shut up about where it is on its journey to me. Fedex made the mistake of giving me a tracking number so every day I’d see where it had been and where it was now, silently stalking it, waiting for it to arrive on my doorstep. When I realized it would be here today I immediately became paranoid that I wouldn’t hear the door and my parental units would both be at work and the last thing I wanted was to have to wait until after 5 to go pick it up at the post office. I then contemplated sleeping downstairs because we have a buzzer things that does off down here when the doorbell rings, but then the thunder and lightning started and I decided to take my chances upstairs.  Turns out the dude couldn’t find my street and called me on my cell to find out where I lived so crisis averted.

Work was really enjoyable today, it was actually fun for the first time in a long while. I sat with Kristi, Redman and Troy and we joked around most of the day. The queue even dropped to zero for a few seconds, it was such a sight for sore eyes. We had decided that today was a good day to dress up so I wore a black button up shirt and the tie I had bought yesterday at Frenchy’s. Add this chapeau on top and I looked pretty damn good if I do say so myself.
