Yesterday was a good day I went to go see Despicable Me with Kristi, and despite it being a fairly stereotypical kids movie, it was cute and I enjoyed it immensely. The little minions were very simplistic but awesome and the three little girls had every occasion to be annoying and whiny but they stayed true and had very strong personalities that I found suited each age range of the little ladies. Gru was also quite enjoyable, the accent was great and the movie was very self aware which I really enjoy with animated movies. That was pretty much everything of note that happened yesterday apart from going grocery shopping and getting some new toys while I was out and about town. I finished off the night with a BBQ’d chicken sandwich with some marble goat’s cheese which tasted pretty good and there was a chance that I would be fine with it because apparently goat cheese is a different kind of dairy than normal cheese. According to my gut this is not so and as a result I stayed home from work today to nurse my wounds and ended up playing Ultimate Alliance 2 for the majority of the day. Not really that productive but I feel better than I did when I woke up this morning, which was my goal, so, success.
